Arrival Procedures

When booking this car park please make sure you enter your correct car registration number as Long Stay Stansted operates an Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) system. When you arrive at the entry barrier your registration number will be recognised and a ticket will be printed showing your booking reference. If however it says 'cashier', please report to customer services on your return. Take the ticket then the barrier will open and follow signs to the zone indicated. Make a note of the zone and the nearest bus stop where you can then transfer to the airport.

Departure Procedures

To transfer back to the car park catch the long stay courtesy bus back to the car park. To exit the car park, insert your entry ticket into the machine at the barrier. Your number plate will be read and the barrier will lift automatically. If your ticket does not have your booking reference printed on it above the barcode, show your ticket and your booking confirmation to a parking attendant, or press the call button on the exit barrier for help.

Transfers operate 24 hours a day every 15 minutes, taking approximately 10 minutes.

From the M11 - Leave the motorway at Junction 8a if you are travelling from the south, or Junction 8 if you are traveling from the north. At the roundabout, follow signs for Stansted airport. At the next roundabout take the first exit, following signs for the long stay car park. Go straight on at the next roundabout, go past the Hilton hotel and take the next turning on the left into the long stay car park.

Disabled Facilities

Blue Badge parking for disabled users is available in Zone Q. There are 130 spaces and each have been designed with safe manoeuvring areas to the side and rear. The Zone Q bus shelter is conveniently located and has an easy access ramp for wheelchair users. If you're using the Blue Badge bays, press the help button in the bus shelter and notify the controller that you require a bus to the terminal.
